Attorney. Coach. Consultant.
I help lawyers stop surviving their careers and start owning them.
Stop surviving your career. Start owning it. I have done it and so can you.
Getting unstuck is hard without someone who’s already walked the path.
I’ve spent over two decades practicing law, and just as long watching lawyers move through the same journey. From overworked and invisible, to burned out and numb, to finally building something that’s theirs.
I know the associate years. Billing every six minutes of your life like it’s a currency more valuable than your actual time. Telling yourself “after this trial” and then there’s another trial. “After this brief” and then there’s another brief. Missing the birthday party, the dinner, the moment you can’t get back, because someone else’s deadline always outranked your own life.
I know what it’s like to be good at your job and still feel like you’re disappearing inside it.
I know the burnout. Not the dramatic kind, the quiet kind. The kind where you’re still showing up, still winning, still getting the compliments, and underneath it you’re running on fumes and resentment you can’t quite name. Where you numb out with more work because stopping means feeling everything you’ve been avoiding.
And I know the leap. The leap of leaving your firm and finally “Going Solo.” The terrifying, no-safety-net, what-if-I-fail leap of finally saying I’m done asking permission to build the life I actually want. I made that leap in August 2018. I didn’t have a roadmap. I didn’t have a mentor who’d done exactly this. I built the plane while I was flying it.
Now I help other lawyers find their own version of that shift, whatever stage they’re standing in. Some need to just breathe again. Some need to finally set boundaries around their time. Some are ready to build something that’s theirs, literally, their own firm, their own name on the door. All of it is the same core work: stop surviving your career, and start owning it.
We, as humans, need encouragement and a LIGHT.
Ownership looks different for everyone. Sometimes it’s literal, your own firm, your own name on the door. Sometimes it’s figurative, finally owning your time, your choices, your life outside the billable hour. I coach and consult on both.
I help you find the path that is unique to YOU.
Whether you’re deep in the cycle and need to find your footing, or standing at the edge ready to build your own practice, you don’t have to figure this out alone.
When you book with me you have accomplished the first step of carving out that important time. In your sessions with me, I give you the space to explore what is eating at you and together we will come up with bite sized plans to help you live the life you actually want to live.
I am here to help you live the best life for you.
I’m a mama to two kiddos. A family law attorney and mediator. Someone who’s weathered a lot, including my own divorce, and came out the other side clearer about what matters.
I chose a different path, more than once. I can help you find yours.
